Circle of Giving Awards

On January 16th, The Renton Community Foundation held the 13th annual “Circle of Giving” awards celebration at the Renton Senior Activity Center. I was there to accept a check for Allied Arts of Renton. Allied Arts is celebrating its 50th birthday this year! The group has sponsored the Fall Family Concert for the last 30 of those years. Every fall, the 80 piece Seattle Philharmonic Orchestra provides amazing performances at the IKEA Performing Arts Center. The money received from the Renton Community Foundation, will be used to help underwrite costs of the concert. Last year, a senior named Ann was thrilled that she could go to a quality live performance for only $5! Thank you to the Circle of Giving for your help!

About The Creative Side of Renton

I have become captivated by Renton since moving here three years ago. I love the beautiful scenery, the wonderful people, and I have made it my mission to help to further develop and to promote the creativity, and the art and culture of this community.
